Maybe eventually I'll find my camera. Then I can post pictures along with this blog.
My 24th birthday was fairly uneventful but considering the circumstances and recent events, it's been nice to spend time with Adam. I love him so much and it's important for him to know that every single day. Monday will decide his career fate so continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Until then we're holding out breath.
As for today, Adam and I went to Richmond and drove around enjoying the sprawl of the city. It's dripping with history and old buildings that I only wish I could walk inside and explore on my own. People like me are the reason NO TRESPASSING signs exist. We did get a chance to tour Virginia's capitol, though. I loved the the detailed architecture and Adam was absorbing lots of facts from the Capitol Guide we joined halfway through her tour. We drove home, went grocery shopping and came back to the house to try out the new gas grill (one of Adam's Christmas presents). He made the most amazing steaks, corn on the cob and baked sweet potatoes. After that we watched Toy Story 3. Man, do I feel old. I never would have thought I would be staying in and watching cartoons on a Saturday night. I'll probably even go to bed before midnight. I might as well have one foot in the grave...
